Oravita is the trade name of an independent web-engineering studio operating from the Netherlands. For the purposes of GDPR, Oravita is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

Three categories of personal data, all minimal:

• Form submissions — name, work email, website URL, and the answers you give in the audit quiz. Used to scope a call.
• Analytics — anonymized page views and Core Web Vitals via Vercel Web Analytics, only after you opt in. Cookieless, no advertising trackers.
• Operational logs — IP address and user agent in server logs, retained for 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Form data is processed under contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) — we need it to respond to your enquiry. Analytics and logs are processed under legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) for measuring site performance and protecting infrastructure.

We do not use personal data for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.

Only the processors we need to run the studio:

• Hosting (Vercel) — EU regions where available
• Email (Postmark / Google Workspace) for transactional and team email
• CRM (HubSpot) for sales pipeline

Each processor is bound by a data-processing agreement. We never sell or rent personal data.

Form submissions: kept for the lifetime of the engagement plus 12 months, then deleted. Analytics: aggregated, no per-user identifiers. Server logs: 30 days.

Under GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You can also object to processing, request portability, or withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@oravita.nl and we will respond within one business day.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe we are not handling your data correctly.

We will update this page when our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged in the next email we send you.
